Gravel Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound potatoes, peeled and cubed

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried lavender

1 teaspoon dried marjoram

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon dried basil

1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/8 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dry mustard

Directions

Place cauliflower florets in a large bowl. Toss with garlic powder, salt, paprika, basil, marjoram, thyme, lavender, marjoram, rosemary, rosemary, salt and dried basil. Place in refrigerator to chill.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Heat flour in a large metal skillet over high heat. Add cauliflower, and cook at a rapid rate until golden brown, 10 to 20 minutes. Drain, place 1 inch pieces in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute the cauliflower for 3 to 4 minutes, or until lightly browned. Stir in the olive oil and garlic powder mixture and cook for 1 minute. Drain, and stir in the basil, marjoram, basil, rosemary, rosemary, salt, mustard, and potatoes. Pour mixture over the cauliflower and potatoes in the baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until cauliflower is tender and potatoes are crisp. Cool completely, and cut into cubes.

I found this recipe while traipsing about for a new bread. I sacrificed both the prunes and plotcha (didn't need both) Delicious.
