1/2 cup white sugar
1 pound heavy cream
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
To Make Sauce: In large saucepan over medium heat, whip sugar, cream and flour until sugar is completely dissolved. Continue to whip until all of the mixture is stiff. Stir in baking soda and salt, turning in mixture until mixture forms stiff yet chewy ball. Add 1 tablespoon of milk if desired consistency is not quite creamy.
Serve with various bread layers.
