2 1/2 cups butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1 medium garlic clove, crushed
3 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 cups milk
Beat butter in small bowl until creamy; add brown sugar and vinegar. Beat with electric mixer, using 1/3 cup flour, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 1/3 cup white vinegar, egg and garlic clove. Mix thoroughly. Shape dough into 6 balls; roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased 8x8 inch baking pans. Brush lightly with lemon juice and lemon juice. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center of each pan comes out clean. Cool completely; serve hot.
