1 (18 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O
1 (4 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups vanilla sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup Pina Colada Syrup
3 tablespoons lemon juice
In a medium mixing bowl, combine orange gelatin, orange juice concentrate, heavy cream, orange syrup and lemon juice. Stir until thoroughly blended. Store in refrigerator.
The soy sauce element adds a nice savory touch but it can also be boring. I used medium sesame oil but used 1 tablespoon of dried minced garlic per tablespoon of plain oil. This cooks down the thickest part of the sausage so it is still very thin but still passes for a burger. Brought to a barbecue and smothered in the sauce. Very good.
