I've made this for Mardi Gras parties and it is a big hit. I usually just add corn or rice and basting makes it more flavorful but this was a delicious side dish. I usually only use 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt (or Splenda, if using store bought) and I instead added 1/2 tsp each of McCormick's Roasted Chicken Breasts and 1/2 tsp of their Vegetable Seasoning Blend. It added a great variety to the recipe! Thanks for sharing.

I made this and found it to be wonderful. About all I can say is that it is VERY rich and will require some purring around the eggs and the toast, but again, super easy and very good. WILL make this over and over.
