1/2 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon margarine, melted
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 (15 ounce) cans chicken broth
1 (3 ounce) package instant chicken sauce or gravy
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon chicken seasoning
1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules
1 teaspoon garlic powder
5 meat strips
freshly ground black pepper
In a small mixing bowl, stir together 1/2 cup white sugar, brown sugar, and margarine. Place cornstarch in the flour mixture. Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar over cornstarch mixture. Mix cornstarch mixture into chicken broth, then pour into a large pot.
In a small mixing bowl, beat gravy using chicken bouillon granules. Pour into pot and add enough water to cover by 1/4 cup. Fill pot with chicken broth to keep from overflowing.
In a large bowl, mix instant chicken sauce, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, and chicken seasoning. Pour filling into pot. Add minced chicken strips. Cover pot and simmer over medium heat for 1 1/2 hour.
Reduce heat to low and stir in cornstarch mixture, garlic powder, chopped chicken, black pepper, and sliced black pepper. Cool completely. Garnish with chicken strips.
