1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
4 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
3 eggs, beaten
1 (11 ounce) package marked Italian sausage, sliced
2 slices mozzarella cheese, diced
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons milk
1 (8 ounce) container melted butter
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, Swiss cheese, mushrooms and eggs together.
Toss mushroom mixture in 3 tablespoons of margarine to form a quick filling.
Roll up sausage into three slices each just larger than 4 inches - wrapped around the mushroom filling in the bottom of a 1-quart casserole dish. Fill each slice with 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter.
Sprinkle mushrooms and second slice of cheese over sausage.
Warm on medium heat; cook on low for 8 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is bubbly. Serve over warm pasta.
