Sausage Crisps Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds spaghetti, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

1 (14.5 ounce) can tomato sauce

4 eggs

1 cup sour cream

4 taco shells

6 raw spinach - rinsed, cooled and chopped

1 small onion, finely chopped

Directions

Place cooked spaghetti in a large pot over high heat. Place mushroom, tomato sauce and bell pepper sauce in large sauce pan - cover. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes, then turn off heat.

Place cooked spaghetti in cold oven and bake 20 minutes.

Heat oil in heavy saucepan over medium-high heat. Spread dough out on foil-lined baking sheet. Cover tightly and bake 15 minutes, until thick and browned. Remove from oven and drain on wire rack. Cool completely. Discard foil and cut into bite-size pieces.

Beat egg and sour cream in large mixer bowl until smooth. In small bowl, beat egg/sour cream mixture with ranch-style salad dressing. In small bowl, mix egg/sour cream mixture with cooked spaghetti mixture.

In large bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add 1/4 cup hot milk, continuing to stir until whites form stiff peaks. Fold in chopped spinach and onion. Spread evenly into prepared baking sheet.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before serving.

As breadcrumbs go, these were a little too floury and mushy to be considered a recipe conceptually sound, but were nevertheless executed fairly well. They were nice to make and tasty to eat, even without the crumbs. I used raw honey instead of sweetener, and I omitted the milk. The added flavor from the honey didn't seem to wane, and I'm not sure if the crumbs would have hardened the honey or hardened it further. I made this recipe as written, and it still amazed me. I must admit, I didn't fully realize the full flavor and nutritional potential of the honey I used. I sold my first yeast recipe here on Recipe Cubes -- an amazing compliment. Thanks!

I hate dessert so I made this dish. I made it as a side to a bridal brunch and it got a bit laugh out of it. I omitted the egg and butter and it turned out pretty good. I added some red onion and one more timeinoa. It ended up tasting pretty good and my hubby liked it enough to take it to the registry. I might try it again, I don't know. Sorry about the mess. :)

These are the fattiest biscuits I've ever eaten. I have made muffins out of them and they taste terrific. I had no other biscuits, just regular old wheat bread, and they turned out fantastic. I sealed the bottom of each one with a big olive and garlic clove, and cooked at 350 for 45 minutes. My son is a huge fan of bacon, so I mixed the brownie batter into the wheat flour to make a delicious bacon-bar kind of biscuit. I also used oatmeal to add more moisture, about 1 cup. I only ended up using 2 cups of flour, because the biscuits just packed too much of a punch for me personally. My wife doesn't like almond extract, so I left out the almond parts, and she really liked them anyway. I might try them again and revise the recipe, but they did sound so good I decided to leave them out
