1 cup butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).Lightly grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, chocolate chips, and oats. Stir in the flour, milk, and vanilla. Finally, stir in the oatmeal mixture. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
