Lemon Glaze Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

1 (10 ounce) package lemon glaze

1 (6 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

1 cup distilled white vinegar

1 cup butter

8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Directions

Dredge lemon peel in water, and brush onto the chicken and juices. Let skin stand overnight.

Heat butter, and coat chicken with butter. Add lemon peel, lemon-lime, and vinegar; submerge in cold water to retain juice. Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear. Remove chicken from mixture, discarding juices.

Mix lemon glaze and lemon-lime into lemon-lime glaze mixture. Cover, and refrigerate over night.

Stir mixture with butter and lemon glaze mixture. Cook over low heat for 3 hours, stirring constantly. When chicken has cooked and juices run clear, remove from refrigerator. Serve over chicken.
