1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 pound confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together milk, vanilla, flour and baking powder. Combine egg and sugar and set until just slightly thickened. Add vanilla and flour mixture each time until well mixed. Stir in baking powder and salt and sprinkle egg mixture over Meringue, mixing just until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Bake in preheated oven for 18 minutes, or untildone. Allow to cool in refrigerator 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
