I made this with a rather bland batter (basically because I didn't have any) and it turned out very well. Unfortunately I didn't have any dried daikon, so I resorted to eating the daikon raw, which was what I did have. This is a pretty good recipe for tender daikon, and I would definitely make it again. I used half of a large yellow bell pepper, peeled and roughly chopped. I also added a bit of garlic powder, and red cracked black pepper. These were saved for last because I knew I wouldn't be able to eat them all by myself (I had to share something special for lunch). Overall this was pretty easy and pretty good.
