1 (14 ounce) can oatmeal, cooked and cooled
3 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter
3 egg whites
3/4 cup hot water
4 eggs
4 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 oil. Lightly grease 5 1/2 cup 8x4 inch loaf pans.
In a large bowl, stir together bread flour, baking powder, salt, butterscotch and granulated sugar. Combine melted butter, egg whites and hot water in large bowl.
In a small bowl, dissolve the vanilla extract in 1/2 cup of milk. Add this mixture to flour mixture and stir to combine. Pour milk over dough in prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 27 to 29 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
