4 pounds beef stew meat - cut into 1 inch cubes
1 medium head lettuce
1 large tomato, seeded and diced
1/2 cup red wine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon soy sauce
In a medium bowl, combine the beef, lettuce, tomato, wine and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the meat cubes; drain fat. Add tomato slices. Pour in red wine, stirring. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium; add Worcestershire sauce.
Stir in horseradish, soy sauce and tomato slices. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low.
Stir in browned meat, then brown cut side down. Stir over medium high heat for 2 minutes, or until beef is browned.
