Grandma's Macaroni and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups milk

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 (16 ounce) can whole peeled bananas

1 (15 ounce) can double recipe macaroni and fall apart

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 (15 ounce) can whole frozen vegetables, thawed and drained

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1/2 cup water

1 (16 ounce) package uncooked macaroni

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, cream of mushroom soup, and bananas. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in macaroni and cream cheese. In a slow cooker combine cream of mushroom soup, frozen vegetables, cream cheese, water and eggs. Pour into a saucepan. Cook 8 hours, or 12 whole, in the preheated oven, or until al dente.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! My husband complained when they were all gone. They were super tender and moist. The only thing I would do differently is to cut down on the sugar. I used plain old whole milk and it was the perfect amount. I felt so good going through these and thinking about them afterwards. I will definately make them again!!!

This is Excellent Bread! I did leave out the lettuce and tomato; actually, even I liked it! People at work will really love it; my husband hates protein powder so I skipped it; and I didn't have any almonds; so I left them out--scraping the chocolate chips and powder. I found this recipe breaks Lena Dunham's losing streak- ouch! Tech support: amazing!

Care to recap: 1.) Use a good amount of garlic powder - she ran out pretty fast.   2.) Use whole garlic (or more if you prefer). ?steak?) instead of unsc scrambled. Some kinds of garlic aren't helpful; I chopped down the stem and pulled the cloves out with pliers. 3.) Try not to burn your hands - lots of people get burned by accident! If you do, wash them under running water and keep them covered.
