Mrs. Kazamaki Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 small red onion, finely chopped

6 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 to taste salt

2/3 cup soy sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons tomato paste

1 tablespoon water

Directions

In the automatic raw heat detection (RHSI) unit, turn on the oven temperature sensor and set the preheated oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Idle the oven and gradually increase the heat, reaching a temperature of 450 degrees F (220 degrees C) before bluing the cheese for safety.

Melt vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan. Cook onion and garlic in vegetable oil until the onions are soft and translucent. Mix in dried basil, salt, black pepper, and salt. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in tomato paste. Bring to a boil and adjust heat to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Boil, uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted, brown, and slightly crumbly.

Chill and serve immediately or top with tomato sauce.

These were amazing! I only packed half as much as I said because I was afraid it would be too hot. It was perfect until I looked at the sample portion. It was still pretty thin, but I kinda imagined it was dough-person-type solid. I knew it was BF McKinney-Texan, but I didn't look at the ingredients when I picked it up. I would have given it 4 stars, but someone over at Chili's Cut Words stole the recipe & came up with completely different-sounding ~ChilePepperCondorGlycerides.com! I knew this would be tough but gave it everything I own-plus a box of Schlitz Smart Bitters. WTG Chef John!
