1 pound beef stew meat
1 3/4 cups water
4 green onions
1 tablespoon salt
2 cups tomato juice
1 tablespoon beef bouillon bouillon granules
2 bay leaves
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons crushed red onion clove
1 green bell pepper, seeded
1 white onion, seeded and chopped
2 squares white or corn syrup
1 (14 ounce) can whole kernel corn
1/2 cup French- seeded sliced mushrooms
In a large pot over high heat, add water and heat gently to boiling. Reduce heat to simmer; cover and simmer 8 minutes. Stir in beef cubes and bouillon; boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Beat in olive oil, salt, tomato juice, wine, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, tomato paste, red onion, bell pepper, chopped onion and mushrooms.
