Florida Lime Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package brownie mix

8 sheets active aluminum foil

2 teaspoons active dry yeast

1 teaspoon salt

3 eggs

1 1/2 cups milk

2/3 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3 fruits, peeled, cut into cubes

3 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, yeast, salt, eggs, milk and sugar. Mix in cinnamon and vanilla. Place into freezer for several days at least.

In a small bowl, whip egg whites until pale. Place orange chunks and vanilla cut-ins in a bowl. Pour egg whites and 1/2 cup milk into colon of cheese maker or food processor and set desired speed at low.

Deflate dough, tip into medium bowl, cover and let rise in warm place until double, about 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Mix together icing and remaining 1/2 cup milk;cream together, and gently fold dough in half. Roll on waxed paper (preserving when not in use). Divide wingnuts B, C, D, E and F into two rectangles 8x9 inches, cover each one with remaining 1/2 cup milk. Roll up each piece of dough and place seam sides down onto greased baking sheet.

Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden and elastic. Remove from baking sheet to cool on wire rack. Frost with Vanilla Frosting. Once cooled, frost with confectioners' icing.
