Quick Swirl Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

2 egg whites

1 cup applesauce

2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 pounds fresh rolled cinnamon rolls

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a small bowl, mix flour, egg whites, applesauce, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and sugar. Mix until smooth. Roll the cinnamon rolls in sugar, and spread them out on a large sheet of waxed paper. Boil cinnamon rolls in boiling water for 15 to 20 seconds to prevent sticking.

Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until brown. Cool on a rack.

My husband gave this recipe to a friend this evening. I would not recommend it to a new cook, but good for setting things in order.
