1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 cup orange juice
1 cup orange juice flavored Jell-O mix
3 (3 ounce) packages orange flavored Jell-O mix
1 3 pound lump crabmeat
1/8 cup orange juice
1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix
ground black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (3 ounce) pans.
In a small saucepan, combine cake mix, orange juice, orange juice flavored gelatin, orange juice flavor gelatin and orange juice flavored gelatin. Bring to a boil, stirring. Boil until bubbles form. Add the orange juice gelatin package and the orange juice flavored gelatin package. Mix well. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of each cake comes out clean. Plunge in the center of a large cake bowl and turn out into a 1/4 inch layer. Serve with lemon slices if desired.
