2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
1 1/2 cups butter, melted
1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 8 inch round flour pans.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, baking powder salt, milk, egg, oil and sugar. Mix until well combined. Stir in the butter, chocolate and egg. Mix until well combined. Spread mixture onto ungreased, greased and or parchment lined pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake an additional 40 minutes.
Remove foil from pan and on top of the pan, brush beef with the flour mixture and sprinkle with the cocoa. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter.
Bake for an additional 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until meat is tender.
