1/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 pound lean ground beef
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
1 (15 ounce) can chicken of chicken broth
1 (16 ounce) package dry beans
1 (8 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a large baking dish.
Place a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook burgers until browned. Drain fat.
Stir cream and butter into the skillet. Mix well. Cook and stir 5 minutes, until smooth. Add the chicken broth, beans, water and peas. Stir well. Add corn and parsley. Reduce heat to low and simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
