Anise Candy Corn Chocolates Recipe

Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) packages ANISEE Anise Candy Corn Chocolates

1 cup boiling water

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons butter

1 cup white sugar

1 cup packed light brown sugar for decoration

1/4 cup butter or margarine

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Beat boiling water and anise extract in small bowl until mixture is thickened. Remove candy from plastic soda canister; pour into greased 8-quart glass or metal mixing bowl. Stir brown sugar, melted butter, light brown sugar, and white sugar into candy mixture. Mix in anise extract.

Heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spread pan mixture in center of oven. Bake in preheated oven for 7 to 8 minutes, or until set and lightly browned. Cool completely.

Stir marshmallows and vanilla extract into candy mixture. Pour over candy and chill 8 hours or overnight. Cut into squares.
