Strawberry Flip Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 cup butter

1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped

2 tablespoons white sugar

1 cup strawberry juice

1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and chocolate until smooth. Beat in sugar until well blended. Mix in strawberry juice until well blended.

Coat a medium bowl with waxed paper. Set aside to cool.

In a large bowl, cream together the strawberry cream and strawberry preserves until light and fluffy. Beat in the remaining 1/3 cup margarine, beating until blended. Beat in flour, stirring just until incorporated. Fill the chilled bowl with whipped topping.

Refrigerate until set, then cut into squares.

I made this quick, easy recipe & it was great! The pecans were the deal breaker. I used a handful of chopped pecans, crushed them down into the sauce as it boiled. I also added a dash of cinnimon and a half of a ripe avocado. I know I left out the tabasco, but we both felt it needed to be there. What a great way to start a new day!
