2 cups white sugar
2 cups cornstarch
3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon corn syrup
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Stir in sugar & vinegar; boil. Remove heat. Stir in corn syrup. Bring to a slow boil. Boil corn syrup and cook until syrup begins to thicken or thickens, about 8 minutes. Cover boiling. Let cool completely.
Stir corn syrup mixture into remaining sugar mixture, stirring until combined.
