Fresh Apple - Vanilla Custard Mix

Ingredients

1 cup light cream

1/3 cup white sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup dry mixed fruit

2 cups white sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter, chilled

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, beat cream, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth. Add flour and mix until all ingredients are well combined. Stir in dry fruit and stir until well blended. Stir in cinnamon and salt and pour mixture into prepared shell.

In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, beat butter until smooth and creamy. Add flour mixture alternately with cream and vanilla. Stir just to combine. Pour mixture into prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.

Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes before removing from cookie sheet to cool completely.
