2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 onion, grated
2 green onions, grated
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 pounds chicken meat - cut into strips
2 tablespoons margarine for frying
In a small bowl, mix dry soda and white vinegar.
Mix sugar, salt and paprika in small bowl. Reserve 1/2 cup of dressing to dip meat in.
Place space between meat strips in large nonstick skillet. Heat oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Fry chicken strips in oil (first side) about 5 minutes per side or until golden. Fry about 10 minutes per side per side. Drain meat strips on paper towels and serve hot.
