1 pound lean ground beef
1 1/2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
1 red onion, finely diced
1 1/2 cups rice
1 tablespoon beef broth
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3 cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
1 cup uncooked white rice
Place the beef and onions in a large stockpot. Brown on all sides.
Remove meat from pot. Remove bones and skin, and cut meat into 1 inch pieces. Stir together.
Stir in the garlic, bay seasoning, onion, rice, broth and pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and add oregano. Reduce heat to medium, and stir in chicken broth, olive oil and beef bouillon granules. Return to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 2 hours. Stir into meat mixture.
Add the chicken broth and olive oil, stirring occasionally. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 4 hours. Stir into meat mixture.
Adding this plant along with carrot, celery and onion Analog rancoto is sooooooooo good. Though I always try to balance out the heat with celery and oregano V is WAY too strong for my family.
