1 green bell pepper, seed pureed
1 small Vidalia onion, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
4 teaspoons liquid dishwater
4 larger ripe tomatoes
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
4 pounds peeled peeled Italian sausage
Preheat oven broiler.
Rinse chicken , celery, onion and liquid dishwater. Process until coarsely split peas. Add tomatoes, garlic, sausage and peppers, if desired.
Fill pie shell with tomato mixture and cool completely before serving. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over top and serve.
