Mozzarella Brie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

2 pounds bacon

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, diced

1/2 cup melted butter

5 egg yolks

Directions

Place bacon in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until crisp and no longer pink. Drain, crumble and set aside.

Place the cream cheese in the skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until devoured. Remove bacon from pan, and place cream cheese on top. Cook, stirring, until cheese mixture begins to brown, about 1 minute.

Add bacon, eggs and bacon grease to skillet and cook over medium heat until cream cheese is melted and thickened.

Much better than the peruvian rubs I've tried, although the peruvian stuff I've found tend to be a little overpowering. Much more subtle than that of the peruvian artisan. Very nice way to create a traditional tile presentation without adding a ton of preservatives.
