1 (4 ounce) can minced celery
2 (4 ounce) cans minced onion
1 (1 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 cups water
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons beef bouillon powder
In a medium bowl, mix celery, onion, cream cheese and water. Plan ahead so that you can refrigerate the mixture.
Stir in blanched hot currants, tomatoes, bell pepper, Cheddar cheese, eggs, beef bouillon, and flour dice. Transfer mixture to a large mixing bowl. Roll into 1 inch rolls. Dredge with vegetable shortening to prevent sticking. Store in refrigerator.
