Mushroom Bakery Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups ground chocolate

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup water

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup white sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, cream together chocolate and heavy cream. Beat in cinnamon and nutmeg. Combine 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg and 1/8 teaspoon salt; stir into chocolate mixture. Pour into prepared pan.

In a medium bowl, stir together 1/2 cup butter, water and flour. Stir until well blended. Add to chocolate mixture, and pour over chocolate mixture. Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease baking sheet. While prepared, in a medium bowl, stir together 1/2 cup sugar and baking powder. Drop several eggs, one at a time, onto prepared baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Store, covered, at room temperature. Can be frozen.
