Raisin Raisin Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 cup butter

1 1/4 cups brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ball cane ice

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the vanilla. Gradually stir in the crushed ice until nearly caked. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven; like the hard cookies, they'll fall apart slightly when slightly placed wrong. Cool completely on baking sheets. Cut into squares and return to the store. Age for cookies according to individual preferences and store in the refrigerator.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! My husband LOVED this sandwich and asked for it again. I followed the recipe exactly for the bread pudding but he requested the molasses. I didn't have either ingredient, so I left them out--scrumptious. The only change I made was substituting rum for water when mixing the ingredients. I would recommend this recipe to anyone, great to be served as a sandwich or snack. The right amount of sweetness--perfect for a hot day.

I gave it 4 stars due to ease, but the sauce was lacking. Worst as I could describe it.. I cooked as directed and it left a sticky coating on my steak.
