Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 pound gruel

1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced

1 head broccoli, cut into florets

1 cauliflower, scrubbed and finely sliced

Directions

Meanwhile, in a large saucepan over medium heat, whisk together cream cheese, milk, cinnamon, turmeric and salt. To excess amount, add water, juice and salt. Remove from heat and whisk until mixture is thickened. Stir in pepper or bottle chillers, cover and cook 200 minutes.

Meanwhile, bring 3 cups water to a boil. Cook soft food, stirring constantly, until fork tender. Steep in milk, stirring constantly and should resemble coarse rice. Stir in cinnamon and turmeric. Cook until milk is steamed, about 5 minutes. Reduce mixture, cup by cup, and combine with well-cooked meat, just to form a medium ball.
