1 pound baby al dente pasta
2 cups butter
8 sprigs fresh basil
10 black peppercorns
salt and pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
In a large skillet over medium-low heat, warm and saute garlic and onions in butter until tender yet opaque. Add tomatoes with juice, and cook until tomatoes are heated through;.
Add basil leaves, pepper, and salt and pepper to taste.
