1 cup dry penne pasta
5 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
In a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, saute oil, salt and basil for 1 minute.
In a small bowl, mix together penne pasta, crushed basil, crushed oregano, basil, Parmesan and salt and pepper. Cook until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
