2/3 cup confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup golden raisins
2 cups chopped pecans
1 cup candied mixed fruit (optional)
3 tablespoons milk
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant fruit cocktail mix (optional)
4 tablespoons milk
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
In a large bowl, combine chocolate, chocolate chips, and cocoa. Mash until smooth. Stir in dates and raisins.
Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Spread whipped topping over fruit, and layer with pecan layer. Frost with reserved chocolate mixture, if desired.
