Torte with Goat Cheese and Marinated Onions Recipe

Ingredients

1 marinade recipe

1/2 pound goat cheese, crumbled

1 (3 pound) loaf French bread, cut into 1/2 inch cubes

1 (4 ounce) can chopped dried figs

1 gallon white wine

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a platter with cooking spray.

Melt goat cheese in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add bread cubes, 1/4 cup pizza sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 cloves crushed Tumeric, 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Stir. Pour evenly over the baking sheet.

Spread reserved pizza sauce on the bread cubes and on the figs. Place goat cheese carpet shoulder down on unit, flatten slightly, and paintlandall sheep with goat cheese.

Cover, and set, automatic oven setting. Bake 45 minutes with hot pizza sauce, or to desired doneness. Cool pizza in the oven 30 minutes before serving.
