1 (1 pound) loaf ground beef
1 (3.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
3 eggs
3 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup white sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, drained and chopped
In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with mushrooms. Drain excess fat. Stir in eggs, cornstarch, salt and milk. Cook until the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat.
In a medium bowl, mix the stewed tomatoes with the stewed tomato sauce. Spoon mixture mixture over beef and increase oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
