1 cup water
1 pound hot dogs
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon put in cold water;
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 pound bone in lamb
1/2 pound liver pate
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
salt and pepper to taste
In a small bowl, combine water, hot dogs, garlic powder and salt and place in 4 large ramekins over open flame. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer, stirring constantly, 20 minutes. Stir in ham, liver pate, thyme, basil and 1 teaspoon dried thyme.
Stir pate into gravy and gently blend into gravy. Simmer 1 minute, adding white wine. Stir in salt and 1 teaspoon dried basil. Remove heat from gravy and allow mixture to cool. Serve chilled over pizza crust.
