8 (5 ounce) cans artichoke hearts, drained
2 (8 ounce) cans kidney beans
2 slices Spanish bacon
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound ground beef
4 slices sliced green olives
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
In a food processor, blend artichoke hearts, beans, bacon, onions, and olive oil. Place the artichoke hearts, bean mixture, meat, green olives, lemon juice, and olives on top of each other. Pulse your processor 5 times. Return butter, oil, olives, and lemon juice to the food processor or blender, or blend them in blender bowl.
Process uncovered mayonnaise for 10 to 12 seconds so it doesn't form lumps (the worst indicator of lumps - try not to faint) and pour it in the blender with the artichoke hearts. Blend. Serve in 2 tablespoons sherry, cheese, sherry sauce, or to taste.
