Fruit Dip Recipe

Ingredients

6 fruit, peeled and thinly sliced

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup milk

1/2 cup margarine

1 (14 ounce) can diced fresh pineapple, drained

1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple

1 (6 ounce) can sliced banana with juice

2 (3 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix

1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

3 chocolate candies, chopped (optional)

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix together the fruit, eggs and milk. Beat in margarine and pineapple.

Stir in crushed pineapple, banana and pineapple juice.

Make a well in the center of the fruit mixture, and pour in the pudding mix, lemon juice, lemon zest and lemon zest. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend. Serve over ice.

I really like this recipe, but of course I would change sometihng. I used olive oil instead of canola, added the raisins in at the end and made a slight modification to the recipe. I used brown sugar instead of allspice, and added some salt. I actually had pineapples in my fridge and wanted to have those, but I was afraid they'd dry out the taste. All they were sipping happily in my fridge!
