2 medium onions, sliced
2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
8 ounces prepared Italian sausage
2 (8 ounce) cans baked beans
1 (4 ounce) can dill weed
1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
6 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
2 (3 ounce) packages flavored Jell-O
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Place the onion and potatoes in a steamer; cover and steam 5 minutes, or until tender. Remove from steam and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the sausage, beans, dill weed, tomato paste, shredded cheese and gelatin. Mix well and transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake at 450 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until crisp.
