2 yellow squash, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup butter
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine the yellow squash, butter, onion, garlic, brown sugar and salt in a medium bowl. Mix well. Then mix in the pepper, margarine and chocolate syrup. Spread mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 26 to 30 minutes, until squash is tender. Cool covered in refrigerator.
