Beef Stew Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound beef stew meat

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon white sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons salt

2 cups beef broth

Directions

In a large pot over medium heat, combine the beef broth and 2 teaspoons sugar, stir until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, then add the lemon juice. Reduce heat to low and simmer until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat, stir in salt and garlic.

When beef is tender, remove from heat and stir in salt and garlic. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in boneless chicken thighs. Add 1 cup chicken broth and stir well. Return meat to pot over high heat, add lemon juice and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add beef broth and stir well. Return meat to pot and stir well. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, adding additional beef broth, if necessary.
