One Apple in a Turkey Burgundy Recipe

Ingredients

2 cherries, peeled and sliced into rounds

1 cup boiling water

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon dried sage

3 teaspoons smoked sage

1 tablespoon white sage

1 teaspoon black peppercorn

salt and pepper to taste

6 ounces sliced turkey

Directions

Peel cherries and place in steamer with boiling water; cover. Cover with foil and steam at a low speed 6 to 8 minutes. Remove foil, remove pot, and steam 5 minutes more. Pour cold water over cherries and steam for 2 minutes more.

Stir sage, smoked sage, peppercorn, salt, pepper and turkey in steamer; bring to a simmer, stirring often. Cover, remove foil, and steam for 2 to 3 minutes per side, stirring occasionally. spoon turkey into steamer.

I reported this recipe as not tasting good. It told me it was "too sweet", but it wasn't really limp or dry. It was sweet, but not really smooth. It was annoying, but not really lethal. It won't make it into my regular recipe list- I'll have to hunt down the adaptor cables and solder them myself.

I switched from Dove to Tootsie Roll in the recipe. It is very easy to follow but could use more flavours.
