8 ounces beef tenderloin
3/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons red wine
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1 onion, sliced
1 (15 ounce) can beef broth
1 tablespoon soy and vegetable cooking wine
In a saucepan, combine wine, Worcestershire, red wine, brown sugar, vinegar, and onion. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Let the liquid simmer for 2 minutes.
Stir the beef into the liquid mixture. Cover, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring, until beef is tender. Add the brown sugar, soy cooking wine, and the beef broth. Mix well until all of the ingredients are coated.
