1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
2 cups chicken broth
1 (8 ounce) can bread crumbs
1 cup crushed pretzel cornflakes cereal
In a slow cooker, combine butter, onions and green pepper. Place chicken in skillet and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes. Stir in broth, bread crumbs and cereal. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were terrific. They were very delicious and very easy to make. My husband didn't care for the condiments so I didn't add any at all. I will make this again and again!
