Hot Chocolate Crisp Recipe

Ingredients

6 chocolate ganache candies

2/3 cup apple juice

4 tablespoons milk

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Place candies in a microwave-safe dish, microwave on high for approximately 1 hour.

Cool candy thoroughly in microwave. Remove from dish and place on ungreased plate. Microwave on medium for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Microwave on high for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Refrigerate candy.

Pour apple juice into microwave-safe dish. Stirring constantly until fruit is thoroughly dissolved. Bring to a full boil.

Return candy to chocolate saucepan and slowly add milk, sugar, vanilla and apple flavoring. Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Microwave candies for 2 minutes or until candy is set. Remove from microwave. Store in a plastic bag or container in refrigerator.
