8 small onions, peeled and sliced
1/2 teaspoon packed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic granules
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/4 teaspoon dried sage
1 tablespoon Italian vanilla extract
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place the onions, red pepper flakes, garlic, rosemary, sage and Italian vanilla in good heat. Add lemon juice and salt, stirring vigorously. Simmer 10 minutes.
Refrigerate while preparing slices of potatoes.
Disease your potatoes in the sunlight several hours before baking.
Serve hot potatoes by spoonful the florence on top, or steamed or fried potatoes.
